Adrenaline Uses

Adrenaline is used in the treatment of severe allergic reactions, glaucoma, decreased blood pressure, local anesthesia, bleeding, allergic conditions and cardiac arrest.

How Adrenaline works

Adrenaline is an alpha- and beta-adrenergic agonist. It relaxes muscles in your lungs and relieves spasm, wheezing, and shortness of breath that occurs during a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis).
